Bookingrepublic.com Reservation System – Terms and Conditions

1. Key Terms

1.1. The Bookingrepublic.com reservation system is operated by City suites, s.r.o., registered office at Tolstého 12, Praha 10, 10100; e-mail: info@dreamresidences.cz (Reservation System Operator; Operator)

1.2. Accommodation Provider: owner / lease holder of an accommodation facility which provides services to the Client based on an Order placed by the Client with the Reservation System Operator.

1.4. Client: legal or natural person ordering services offered by Accommodation Providers.

2. Introductory Provisions

2.1. These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) regulate the relationship between the Reservation System Operator and the Client.

2.2. These Terms and Conditions apply to all situations unless a Contract or any other written arrangement between the Parties stipulates otherwise. Specific provisions of the T&C may be modified or excluded in the Contract.

3. Governing Law and Legal Order

3.1. The contractual relationship between the Parties is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

4. Ordering and Payment for Services

4.1. Order: The Client expresses their interest in the Operator’s services by completing and sending an inquiry form. The Operator will then display the vacancies available in the Accommodation Provider’s facility on the dates specified by the Client, and will inform the Client about the availability and price of accommodation for the selected dates. Order is placed once the Operator confirms the Client’s Order by sending the Client an e-mail containing an Accommodation Voucher.

4.2. Price: Price for accommodation services will be specified by the Accommodation Provider. The Operator shall not mark up the prices. The price depends on the dates selected by the Client, number of persons and other parameters specified in the Client’s inquiry form. Prior to final confirmation, the Accommodation Provider will notify the Client of the total price. If the Client agrees with the price offered, this constitutes a binding order. Prices displayed for each Accommodation Provider are merely informative and will not become final until the Accommodation Provider confirms the Client’s order (by sending the Accommodation Voucher).

4.3. Payment terms: The Client will pay on arrival directly to the Accommodation Provider. In case of some reservations, especially stay packages and group reservations, the Reservation System Operator may require a collateral by credit card, or request an advance of up to 100% of the price of the Client’s stay. The Operator will notify the Client whether a credit card collateral or advance payment is required in the process of reservation confirmation.

5. Discount for Previous Reservations

5.1. The Bookingrepublic.com Reservation System provides a discount calculated from the Client’s previous paid reservations in the amount of 10 percent of the price of the Client’s previous stay.

5.2. The discount may be transferred to a third person with no other conditions attached. Discount may be claimed and transferred only if the transferee registers in the Bookingrepublic.com Reservation System.

5.3. The Operator shall not be liable for any damage caused by erroneous transfer of discount to a third person, and has neither the authority nor obligation to investigate the person to whom the discount is transferred.

5.4. The Client has no legal claim to the discount for previous reservations, and the Operator may refuse or withdraw the discount without compensation at any time, or, as the case may be, cancel any Client’s account, including all accumulated discounts. The Client has no right to seek compensation for damage incurred by such cancellation, refusal or withdrawal.

5.5. Discount may be claimed only in the form of credit used toward a new reservation. The Client may not request the payment of the discount in cash.

6. Cancellation and Complaints

6.1. Accommodation Providers set their own rules for cancellation. No-show Clients who have provided a credit card as collateral will be charged for the first night. No cancellation fee will be charged if a Client who has provided a credit card as collateral cancels the reservation 24 hours prior to their arrival (reservation will be deemed cancelled by the Provider’s written confirmation of cancellation).

6.2. The Client must notify the Provider in writing of any changes in their reservation or of reservation cancellation.

6.3. If the Client has any complaints regarding the quality of accommodation and services provided by the Accommodation Provider, they must lodge any such complaints directly with the Accommodation Provider.

6.4. The Client may also file a written complaint regarding the Provider’s services at info@dreamresidences.cz, or by post sent to the Operator’s address.

7. Privacy Protection

7.1. Personal Data Processing: The Client expressly acknowledges that the Reservation System Operator has the right to process and retain any information and data provided by the Client for the purpose of processing their Order, in accordance with the relevant legal regulations, especially the Personal Data Protection Act No. 101/2000 Sb. By sending an inquiry form as per section 4.1 above, the Client agrees to receiving the Reservation System Operators newsletters at their e-mail address. The Client may withdraw their consent to receiving the newsletters at any time.

8. Force and Effect

8.1. These Terms and Conditions come into effect on 1 January 2015.

8.2. The current version of these Terms and Conditions is available for inspection in the Reservation System Operator’s offices, as well as on the Reservation System Operator’s website.
